Context

Short, playful tasks can show how alert or tired someone feels today, without a sign-up form first.

Problem

Offer quick games that work without sign-up, give friendly feedback instead of harsh scores, and keep any saved results private.

My role

Game design, architecture and build.

Approach and architecture

  • Twelve games in three groups on one shared game kit, plus a combined Mind Check-up
  • Scores from 20 to 100, marked as indicative, with levels and stars instead of failures
  • Optional sign-in to save results across devices; a result isn't lost during sign-in
  • Share pages with their own preview image, so a shared score shows a rich card
  • No analytics on the games' saved data; wellness indicators, not medical tests

Stack

  • JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS
  • Flask 3
  • Authlib
  • Google Cloud Storage

Outcome

  • 12 games and a Mind Check-up, playable without an account
  • Six themes and six avatars, remembered per browser
  • A code review round fixed 8 defects before release
